Chris Wallace is slated to be the first moderator of the Trump/Biden debate Sept. 29th. Who should be more afraid, Trump or Biden?

Trump. Chris Wallace will fairly enforce the agreed rules. Trump’s only real option in any debate since he’s incapable of actually debating any policy issue simply from lack of knowledge is to create disruptive theatrical displays. He needs to break the rules to redirect attention from the ordinary content. Any moderator that seriously tries to hold him to the rules is a threat. Trump has real stage skills as a reality TV star and extemporaneous political-entertainment speaker but he knows nothing about policy, law, history, geography, science or any topic that might relate to the serious content of a debate. Biden isn’t a policy savant but he knows vastly more about the traditional subject matter than Trump.

Biden is an ordinary political debater with a lifetime of experience who gets along very naturally with the rules and if anything is too compliant. He’s helped by a strong neutral moderator and strict rules.
