It's too dark to see much, but I can make out some trees a few hundred yards off, which is a lot better than yesterday afternoon. Smells smokey. The air is still. As of last night, the Willits fire was 10% contained, but hadn't grown. The highway was closed about 10 miles south of me yesterday, cuz of the danger of falling trees. Don't know if it's open.

It's been a year.
