Apparently he wants to cut off future expansion, using a reasonably long time table that will not screw up present deals. Assuming a worst case, that he gets what he asks for, the question then becomes where does the FFO for REITs like HOT, PAH, and MT end up after digesting the present deals plus any other deals in the pipeline that get implemented before Congress acts? IMHO, here's an example where small investors with limited analytical tools are at a disadvantage to institutional analysts.
