News didn’t cite the wrongs, only the loss of his brokering license. Those were the days of the HSBC money-laundering aka foreign exchange violations. I deduce a connection.
That VP was the love partner to a sitting Congressperson. Their ties were known publicly.

Hey Uncle Sam. Do you know where your dollars are going? Are CARES ACT dollars going to China by way of Hong Kong f-l-e-e-s who are being ‘taxed’ by a martial law takeover of their bank? Is President Xi demanding a sort of “Indulgence Payment” as forgiveness for the sin of leaving the Motherland?
Isn’t it odd that news sources are writing about a handful of CARE ACT dollars going to US-Austrian ex-pats when Billions are going to HSBC accounts?
And isn’t it odd that an ex- FBI investigator is complaining that A sitting POTUS trying to ‘drain the swamp’ is A threat? Is POTUS getting too close to discovering the payola accounts and records like President Xi is doing over in HK? Is HSBC doing the laundry again like it did back in he ‘90’s?
Whose laundry is hanging out in the breeze? I know A sitting Congressperson with dirty laundry. Does Treasury cover up that dirty laundry to defend reputations? Do they have a ‘Congressional confessional booth’? Who settles department turf battles? Who defends the flag when politicians are dirty? :SMM:

I wonder if Xi can privately discuss Ms. Levy with POTUS and bring some truth to the detente that can heal old wounds. This could be another break-through topic. Gary Condit was innocent of the murder charges. It was all political dirt and DemiGals ‘assassinated’ their own leader.
I wonder if POTUS and Xi can find common interest in stopping the financial leaks and the drug biz money for the sake of their economies? Could this be a State detente break-through topic? Could we discover a Righteous side to Xi that benefits us?
While I have no ties to SecStatUS nor WaDC, I can’t help wondering if Xi can see that a pragmatic, non-sectarian POTUS who has laid out clear principles for rational policies on defense and security and economics and adhering to well-established norms and regulations is a good trade ally. There may never be an easier time for detente since future terms could bog down with hidden agendas.
Regarding Russia, they have been under siege by Britain in the Caucuses for over 150 years, with a slim political settlement allowing democratic process there. In Ukraine’s Orange Revolution of 2014 they defended farmer land rights under attack by an usurious Monsanto seed contract, but didn’t invade. That showed wise restraint. Crimea, not so much.
I am confident everyone agrees that candidate Trump didn’t know any State secrets. Is the true motive that Trump might learn how Obama covered up the Monsanto deal causing the Orange Revolution, and the Obama team wants to discredit the truth-reporter before he reports the Truth? Is our State department actually the source of corruption, and do overseas bank accounts trace back to a former SecStatUS?
Pin the tail on the Don? Or is there another donkey more deserving? ;)
