Re -- contribute to its success but it all comes back to people.

That's true. However you forget that managing people is much much harder than technology. Also people have cultures and various other habits which take time to "fit" in with other people.

Thus even though CPQ gets a lot of people, its unclear if a lot of them are the right people. And even if they are the right people, integration is going to take a long time....

Yup "channelling" it is.!!!
