Does Westell have a significant advantage?

I have a position in WSTL because I believe there is a
significant need by internet users for faster
data transmission. I chose WSTL because they
are participating in several of the ADSL
trials taking place in the US. However, there
are several companies currently developing ASDL
capabilities and, in my estimation, one potentially
serious competitor--US Robotics--that hasn't yet
entered the picture. Why should Westell ultimately
succeed? Is their recent participation in several ADSL
trials really that much of an advantage?
What do they have that other more established firms
couldn't copy or do better?
