Let's hope so. Those maggots have circled the wagons quite effectively thus far. BTW, I was thinking about the military and Trump. Some of the military leaders have not shown as much loyalty as they should to the Commander in Chief recently. In part, I think it's because Trump has not started any wars and is driving peace deals and drawing down troops from the Middle East. That's the opposite of what old soldiers like to see. It disrupts their purpose for existence and the gravy train they get in retirement from public service as they feed off the fat of the military industrial complex.
I think Trump needs to remind all those old warhorses that we have a brewing conflict with China coming and we'd better get ready for it. And one way to get ready is to make sure the we are not distracted by a hundred small conflicts all around the world, so that we can make a successful pivot to Asia. The reality is that we can operate with impunity in the Middle East without investing trillions for warfare there. Let's keep the right bases for hop off points to Iran and elsewhere, especially now that Turkey is becoming a problem, but keep moving in the direction Trump is going in, which is draw down and maintain, don't expand. Then also, Russia is not the danger to us that it was in the past. They are a known quantity and we also have a playbook to contain them. China is the far more existential threat to the US. They are already waging war on the US on so many fronts, including economic. Trump has just begun to fight back. So he needs to make the case to the military brass that he needs them to get real focused and get prepared for war with China. It doesn't mean that we want it or that it will come, but if we are prepared and China knows it, then we have the best chance to prevent it. That should dominate our foreign policy strategy...the pivot to Asia. The success of this pivot will determine whether we can maintain a stalemate with China over the long run or whether we lose Western freedom and civilization to a Communist China dominated world. That is the fight of the present and the future and the military brass needs Trump just as he needs them to successfully fight that fight. Biden will have zero focus on China, or to the extent he does, it will be to further kowtow to China and erode our ability to resist their thievery and bad behavior all around the world. In addition, it has to be obvious to the military leaders that Biden is a Trojan horse for Communism in the US. China will aid and abet the proliferation of Communism here, so that we commit national suicide so they don't have to fight us at all. On the other hand, from a China conflict perspective, Trump is the obvious choice for the military brass to prevent that scenario. If they want to maintain their gravy train and have a purpose in their lives, then Trump is their man and China is the enemy. Biden is a puppet for the Communists. Biden is the Manchurian candidate for real. They need to be made to see that prior to the election.
If the Pentagon and Joint Chiefs of Staff get behind Trump, then they can counteract a lot of the Communist non-sense that is rising in this country, including the obvious attempt to steal the election of foment a coup after they lose to Trump in November. He's going to need to Pentagon to help fight that fight, so that we can later push back against China in a real way. They need to be made to understand that. |
