The magazine was bought by the Nature Publishing Group in 2009. The Nature Publishing Group is a subsidiary of the German Holtzbrinck Publishing Group. They own the Macmillan Group and are a major publisher throughout the West. The globalist publishing organization also has a history of serving their Chinese masters. The nominally American side of the firm, Springer Nature, has kowtowed to China at every turn.
