Your "bent penis" sounds more like Peyronie's disease than ED. A downward curving penis--albeit rigid--makes intercourse exceedingly difficult. A sharp downward curve starting at the base of the penis could make penetration impossible.

FWIW, Peyronie's used to be known as a chimney sweeps disease, as first described in France/England as endemic in those that cleaned chimneys as an occupation. Also, etiology thought to be trauma to the penis, but are other causes as well, as you no doubt know.
