Agreed overhyped and concerning- ipo canary come out of mine looking like the incredible Hulk. Knowing effectively unavailable, I nonetheless tried to short shares of Snow yesterday (just to see) as it was so obviously overhyped and with the increased IPO price seemed to me a slam dunk play. Would have been but of course as investors know the retail guys can't realistically ever short new issues. Just like we always hear no shares available before any hot IPO to the small fries- only goes to preferred institutional and super high net worth types who give a lot of biz (pronounced fees) to firms. All quite annoying actually.

(ps I know underwriters themselves have to wait 30 days before offering for shorting (and lock up times for some holders) but retail should have no such restriction, there's just not enough avail shares. Etrade users get message: shares cannot be borrowed at this time.)
