OFF TOPIC: sadly larryS, the viet nam i witnessed had thousands of displaced people, bomb craters surrounding sigon, hostility from the vietnamese where ever i went, and many drunk and stoned gi's. i learned wars are mostly long periods of bordom seperated by hours of terror.
further, i don't believe truth is very relevant in today's journalism, it's mostly rumor and spin. it's all in excitment of the live feed, created by mostly ignorant, harried reporters, directed by politically driven news directors in new york and los angeles. it's aimed at the dupable masses. its goal is to make money.
i do believe that a married couple should have the choice and the privacy to define their marriage how ever they want. the more i hear about monica, the more i doubt that clinton did anything. and i think that will come out. i.e.: he's not lying.
and i am tired of having discussions in public with well intentioned, but short sighted moralists who insist on making judgments about things that are none of their business and of which they they know little about. |
