Mateus?
or
Black Russians

Andre's had a branch winery on 16th Avenue heading up the hill to Paskapoo.
Baby Duck was popular and I am surprised no one has mentioned Mateus yet.
It was almost as sophisticated as that straw bottled Chianti.
We had big jugs of Donini, not Chianti, we bought big jugs of Donini Red instead.
Kegs, I remember kegs of beer in an ice-filled bathtub.
Drinking at the Sheraton Summit tavern and the Crowchild Inn tavern.
Draft was .25 cents a glass and at last call we would get the table filled.
They had round tables that could hold 40 draft beers in those skinny ALCB glasses.
Skiing at Sunshine with a mickey of Southern Comfort was a ritual.
Eventually I could not drink Southern Comfort at all without getting ill.
We had to go buy Galiano, that's right, I remember that, what were we thinking?
And salt, tequila and lemon.
One thing tequila did well was cut through whatever we were high on for a second or two.
I was always high on something, I remember lots of fresh shrooms, yechh that taste was bad.
Ice, kahlua and vodka for Black Russians, pure booze, no mix at all, a perfect park drink.
I spent most of my senior year of high school in Bowness Park or the tavern.
I finally did graduate high school when I was in my 50's.

I hardly drink today, I keep a nice beer fridge though, it is help yourself.
I also make sure that vape pens are always around, I keep them on the kitchen table in a coffee cup.
I give gifts of intoxicants.
Intoxicants generally are intoxicating, I am not sure that this is good, "toxic" usually isn't.
The body has an endo-cannibinoid system though, people should understand this.
There is a system of enzymes and receptors inside the body, activated by cannabinoids .
My endo-cannabinoid system has been busy for many decades now.
Eventually these endo-cannabinoid systems will be active in most humans.
Cannabis (hemp) is curiously tied to the rise of modern civilization (hemp rope).
Hemp may well be involved in future transformations of humankind as well.
"But I would not feel so all alone, everybody must get stoned"...
