What are you talking about? In the words of RBG, the president doesn't stop being president in his last year in office.
The precedent was not voting for one in '16. Now, there are no more rules.
Oh give me a break. There was no rule stating that the president should automatically have his nominees confirmed in his final year in office. None at all.

McConnell played dirty, but he had every right to obstruct Obama's nominations.

i guarantee you that the Democrats would have done likewise had the tables been turned.
