It might be the case that Team China wants Team TikTok shutdown, but shutdown by Trump as agent of the CCP, so that CCP can use the same rationale as underpinning for shutting down or force-IPO other teams.

2020 certainly not disappointing in the drama factor.

Re the TikTok deal, all we know is that none of the direct parties agree on what the deal is. A good start to the deal :0)
