Because that will be the justification for federal funding of "woke" college majors like gender studies and black studies.
Let's not forget that we're one of the biggest polluters on the planet. Gotta fund those "environmental justice" college majors as well.
And hey, we're a Christian nation, and as we all know, Christianity is the root of all of societies woes. Gotta fund those "comparative religion" majors as well.
Oh yeah, and it's because we're a Christian nation that we are also a homophobic nation. There you go, fund those LGBBQ and Transgender majors that teach us there are 47 genders.
All of this represents "therapy" for the participants. Cause you know, we need federal funding in order to turn these universities into "safe spaces" for millennials these days.
