I wasn't aware that "Christianity was the root of all societies woes." There is nothing wrong in creating an added level of bureaucracy, in the form of a mediator, instead of getting right down to the source.

I was a Jewish Studies minor in college. It was very helpful in understanding why so many Americans are anti-semitic. That is to say, it provided great therapy while I was on scholarship.

As a college adviser, I sent many of my liberal students to Cornell's Human Ecology program. Lots of healthy radical environmentalists there who are devoted and committed to preserving the environment. That liberal program gets a nice tuition waiver funded by NYS.

And I just love Cornell's left wing industrial and labor law program. Most of the professors there are very far left wing. Lots of competition amongst leftists to get in that great program.

Oh, and I forgot to tell you, I spent my summers while in college hitch hiking across the country, climbing mountains and hiking the trails in the national parks in Canada and USA. I would first stop in CA and stay with a few friends and pick up a few hundred dollars in food stamps to fund the eating portion of my trip. It was great therapy so I could return to school and get my A's.

Look what I've become. Government made a great investment in me and I rewarded them by being moral and protesting against the Vietnam war.

I did my part to try to instil a conscience in the US government's foreign policy.
