I have a few of their DVD sets. Still enjoyable 40 years later.

What made it funny was that they created a fictitious town called Melonville that they populated with their outlandish characters.

Hard to say which Levy characters was funniest - Sid Dithers, Earl Camembert, Bobby Bittman, Lou Jaffe. Probably Earl Camembert, the ridiculously-inept news co-anchor. Plus he was a good impersonator.

I was surprised that Joe Flaherty never made it big like Eugene Levy did. I thought he had the best characters overall, especially Guy Cabellero.
