Hmmm-well-you have a point-sometimes affectation does parade as reason. SO, dammit, Paul! Did you ever float in the not-so-great Salt Lake or not? We went to Salt Lake skiing. But I wasn't tempted to float in the Lake, just the hot tub. It was the most incredible place- we lay in the hot tub and looked up at the stars through the steam of our breath and all around were these jaggy peaks that look so intimidating but that earlier we-small mortals though we are-- had conquered. Well-I didn't. I ski on my back, not a position conducive to feelings of dominance. But the others were all self-satisfied. I'm impressed that Stumpy opens doors. Blue doesn't even always remember how to push through his cat door. He sits in front of it looking through the plastic longingly, until someone notices and pushes him through. Right now he's not speaking to anyone becuase he has on a new flea collar and it's purple instead of blue. I told him purple represents royalty, but he's not buying it. He won't come in-just sits on the porch looking into the distance.
