When we raise taxes and pay for things, it's used against us, they win and then cut taxes again. So republicans have two fatal flaws. 1) they can't raise revenue to pay for what they spend (and give away) and 2) they cut taxes and explode the debt even more.

You know we had trillion- dollar deficits before the virus hit right? So put it into perspective. GDP grew around 3 trillion and the debt grew almost 7 trillion.There is no growth without debt, it's ONLY debt. It costs over $2 of debt to create $1 of growth. This is NOT capitalism. It's an odd form of socialism and it was this way before the virus.
