We share one common trait. I never use mute or ignore on any platform. Even a penalty box is too high a price on my end. Finding common ground is where we begin so that's why I bring it up. The modern conservative isn't a conservative at all. He cuts taxes and explodes the debt. Then when bad things happen, like wars, recessions, and a virus, the debt soars even more and he blames it on more spending caused by his wars, his recessions and his virus. They are an odd group of mindless twits but I digress. I have yet to meet a republican who can defend himself or his party so what's left are games. I think the discussions you were talking about are examples of those games. A government governs. They can't govern so they play games. They can't raise taxes so they play games. They can't repeal or replace the ACA so they play games. They can't grow the economy without massive government debt so they play games. They don't believe in capitalism since capitalism means rewarding success and punishing failure. They give tax cuts to those who are failing and to those who've done nothing other than inherit wealth. There's no logic in what they say or do. They're not sane.
