Now last fall another questionable character came on the scene, Shaun Spelliscy, a fella who makes his money standing the line at the Sask Claims office to claim or reclaim locations for mining and...

Back in 1995, Spelliscy camped out in front of the claims office 24 hours before it opened. He would then try to sell his spot in the lineup and/or file on lapsed claims.

"Interestingly, the 3-per-cent net profits interest in the Star kimberlite acquired by Aztec was also previously advertised for sale on the Internet. Specifically, Shaun Spelliscy had the Star kimberlite net profits interest listed on ebay, the popular Internet auction site."
