China had a simple plan. Let the west hold dear their values and we will just go for their money and for the markets. China has no values. China has always had only the interest of the CCP and the Chinese population had to toe the party line. I return the population would be kept fed and happy. They could aim to buy a VW Santana or Toyota Corolla and the higher up in the ladder hungs could buy an apartment. When the west woke up, the Chinese had run away with their money and for the markets. Simple.
