NextWave's Investors

nextwavetel.com

NextWave has attracted a widely diverse group of outside investors -- domestic and international, strategic and financial, corporate and individual. In all, over 60 different outside entities have invested in NextWave -- with no single investor owning over 10% of the company.

NextWave's largest investors include:

Cerberus Partners Triumph Capital CIBC ING Capital Kingdon Capital Bankers Trust Bastion Capital Gotham Capital LCC
QUALCOMM LGIC POSCO ILJIN Korea Electric Power Corporation PECO Energy SONY Nippon Telegraph and
Telephone Corporation (NTT)

To date this diverse group, which includes multinational companies, major financial institutions, smaller financial investors, handset and network equipment manufacturers, consumer electronics companies, network engineering services and electric utilities, has invested nearly $450 million in NextWave.

It is NextWave's founders who exercise ultimate control over the entrepreneurial firm, in full compliance with the FCC's designated-entity rules. NextWave's founders -- all with managerial and technical backgrounds in the wireless telecom arena -- comprise the 22-person control group. This group has one of the most impressive track records in the industry in developing state-of-the-art wireless products and networks, and operating some of the most extensive cellular networks. They represent world-class experience gained from their prior work at organizations such as QUALCOMM, NYNEX, GTE, AirTouch, Motorola, Nokia, the FCC and others as well as extensive public sector experience. It is also significant to note that they have personally invested over $13 million in the corporation -- a sum which NextWave believes is a substantially greater personal commitment than any other C-block participant.
