Truman, Regarding your "unconfirmed " story I would like to offer the following comments:
After browsing through this and the TRIL thread for some time now ow I viewed you as one of the more rational and objective writers on these threads. Now I find that you too are only too willing to spread gossip and innuendo. Charlie Rose interviewed Bill Moyers last night and Moyers pointed out that "in the old days" before the tabloidization" of the news, editors would insist on two corraborating sources before accusations could be published. How sad that now even obviously educated people are willing to spead rumour without any thought to "the truth" nor to its effect on the people they are writing about.
I listened to Bob Brinker's talk show on the weekend in the hope that I would find some respite from the incessant barrage of uninformed hyperbole and drivel concerning "The Scandal". Alas, it was not to be. There are many other opportunities to discuss the continuingly sad saga of the Clinton affair (no pun intented)-- without cluttering up this board with issues of no direct relevence to
Bob Brinker and his market timing strategy.
Sorry this is so long, you don't even know me but I just
wanted to be able to express my disappointment. GB
