The more deranged left is already starting to say that it is a publicity stunt. I bet there will be demonstrations hoping for his death.

The more the leftists spew their lunatic conspiracy theories on social media, the more they demonstrate, the more they openly wish for him to die (and they will do all that), the more undecided voters will drift to Trump. They will see how abysmally biased the media has been. And how he has had to fight a hard battle against opponents who will do literally anything to stop him.

It will be a sobering moment for everyone, a moment to stop and reflect. It will not reflect well on the Dems as I expect an outpouring of sympathy.

Just my guess.
