IMO, it behooves everyone to hedge their positions with shorter term bear style instruments - aggressively with put options and/or selling futures....

for the more conservative holder - rebalancing the 401K with an increase percentage in money markets, bonds, and dividend payers. i personally have changed my 80% stock allocation to 40%

and finally, physical Au and Ag.
