My avg. sell price on DELL is $92 and change and today it closed at $98 and change so I'm down $6! If DELL is aboce $100 on option Feb. expiration day I will be short some more! If it is not I will roll out to the Mar. calls and add to my naked Mar. call position! I have sold calls on DELL since Aug. and have not had to go short on any of my naked calls yet, but I'm sure Feb. options may not expire this time! So be it, for my avg. short selling price will be a bit higher then!
Call me what you want, but I do not believe you understand how much pain I'm willing to take and can take on a short position! As long as my brokerage firms I trade with has DELL to short I will stay with it for the time being! I can ride DELL much higher from here and still have made money with DELL with all the money I have collected from selling the naked calls on it! By the way DELL is my 4th largest short position at this time, and only a small percentage of my total portfolio including my core holding accounts and my trading accounts!
I appreciate your concern, but do not worry about me for I have begun the new year off doing very well in the markets, and also one will not win on all his or her trades and I do not expect to win on all of mine! Again, I'm not the typical short seller that has visited on this thread in the past! Congrates on breaking $100 today and if I owe you a car wash I will come and do it and I'm serious! Let me know if I do, but please wash your car for it may be a year or so before I can make that type of trip!
