What a dull week. Well, I guess it is what it is.
At Friday’s close, the Contest median was up 9.31% YTD (vs. up 9.07% YTD a week ago), the Nasdaq Biotech Index (NBI) was up 13.12% YTD (vs. up 12.99% YTD a week ago), the smaller-cap S&P Biotechnology Select Industry Index (SPSIBI) was up 18.03% YTD (vs. up 18.77% YTD a week ago), while the Nasdaq Composite Index (NCI) was up 22.77% YTD (vs. up 20.98% YTD a week ago).
JBOG’s portfolio, 210.42% YTD, held on to the Contest lead, with FILO’s portfolio, up 162.48% YTD and MASTER’s portfolio, up 85.09% YTD, continuing in second and third place.
At Friday's close, 27 of the 42 Contest portfolios were in the green, with 18 beating the NBI and 13 still beating the SPSIBI.
The 197 Contest stock picks have an average YTD gain of 22.57% with the median still in the red with a YTD loss of -4.54%.

Portfolio adjustments: ADRO 1-5 reverse split; merger with Chinook Therapeutics will close October 5 with symbol change to KDNY.
