This post is addressed to Fonar's sales department. I was advised today by someone close to Columbia HCA's new management that they are NOT going to renew their contract for company wide purchase of GE medical equipment! It seems that they had some kind of a sweetheart deal with the old Columbia management that if Columbia gave GE an exclusive on buying their equipment, including MRI's, then GE would have their employee health plan use Columbia facilities. The new management is more inclined to let their individual hospitals make their own decisions about what brand of equipment to buy. Sounds like an opportunity knocking. Go get'm Fonar!
