That wasn't a sucker punch. You could see that punch coming from a mile away. The commie was an idiot. If he did not want to fight, he should have backed off. Instead, he just stood there like a doofus. It was more than obvious that the other guy was ready to brawl. A sucker punch is what was done to Rick Moranis in NYC a couple of days ago.
