Actually I saw very little of it. I passed straight through to the outskirts on the Turkey side, where I spent a couple of houses at the roadside waiting for a ride - almost no traffic on the road. I didn't know it, but I was suffering from hepatitis, which sent me to hospital in Trabzon a couple of days later.
