Your figures trouble me - the main thing here is that the major telephony providers are not going to stand idly by and allow 90% of their business to be taken away by internet telephony. That's just not going to happen. There will be regulation, or charges for the pass-thru... ultimately someone will have to pay. I really don't think some action along these lines is very far away.

Also, I question whether the technology will be able to keep up with demand, if indeed usage begins to grow at the rate you suggest. The internet is already close to "max" - and voice communications demand
will dramatically exacerbate that situation.

Finally - communication sound quality is much worse than normal telephony.

I think internet telephony has a chance, it will grow, probably, but nowhere near the speed you suggest.
