Joe, to say that IOM is losing the race is ridiculous. I don't think anyone would disagree with the fact that IOM is clearly the leader. Who else has an install base as high? No one. I think the question you should be addressing is whether or not they are losing ground to competitors or pulling away.

As far as the loser advertising heavily...give me a break. The vast majority of top brands advertise extensively. That's how they remain on top. Is Coke in danger of losing its dominant position? It sure does advertise a lot. Maybe I should sell it short.

Another thing to consider is that it is by no means unprecedented to see the company with the lesser technology but better marketing beat the better technology and weak marketing.
