Ironic that connectivity is what billions of people crave and we're all willingly and happily embracing with hard pieces of metal and plastic. Which leaves most humans a kind of cold and bleak existence that human touch and feel could crush in an instant.

Which begs the question.........which of our five sense's is most important? I watch whole families and groups of individuals totally ignoring the reality of a close physical presence for the false sense of connectivity they find and cling to on their devices. I have a family member that is constantly on her devise "chatting" back and forth with her "friends" while she's surrounded by people with whom she shares true kinship. The sorry part is she's in her 40s and doesn't seem to have a clue about what she's missing.

The whole thing (Halt and Catch Fire) was stunningly excellent.
