If you're black, Wharfie, you're MUCH more likely to get killed by another black guy than you are by a racist cop or a white supremacist.

Blacks also make up 13% of the American population but commit 52% of the murders, according to official statistics from the Bureau of Justice Statistics. (The numbers go up to 2008, but there is no reason to believe that things have changed from 2009 to 2020.)



You don't see this reported at all because of the fear that it would stereotype innocent black people as murderers and thugs. Indeed, the whole "13/52" meme is being flagged all over the Internet as "hate speech."

But the numbers don't lie.
