"'Today, we successfully seized 92 domains involved in a disinformation campaign conducted by Iran-based actors to promote pro-Iranian propaganda,' said an FBI Special Agent.
"'This investigation, initiated by intelligence we received from Google, was a collaborative effort between the FBI and social media companies Google, Facebook, and Twitter.'
"Four of the seized domains masqueraded as independent outlets, but were controlled either by or for the IRGC for the purpose of disseminating pro-Iranian propaganda in an effort to impact U.S. policies.
"Those four domains were not registered as required by the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), and did not alert viewers that the material was being disseminated for the IRGC and Iran's government."
Google, Facebook, and Twitter co-operated? The domain takedown must not affect Democrats adversely then.
ITEM 16: United Press International reported, "Federal prosecutors have charged a South Florida rapper of conspiring with others to steal tens of millions of dollars in federal relief funds meant to aid small businesses amid the corona virus pandemic.
"The Justice Department in a release said Diamond Blue Smith, 36, a member of the music group Pretty Ricky, and Tonye C. Johnson, 28, of Flourtown, Pa., have been charged in federal criminal complaints unsealed Tuesday for wire fraud, bank fraud and conspiracy to commit wire fraud and bank fraud.
"The complaints said the pair were charged in a scheme involving 11 other defendants, including former NFL wide receiver Joshua Bellamy, to steal $24 million in loans from the Paycheck Protection Program."
