Not sure that is a good thing. It is similar to the concerns of NVDA buying the old ARHMY. As a separate company they are neutral and customers do not have to worry about buying from a competitor or a supplier with another agenda. The next step for machine learning is migrating the models to hardware to increase speeds and XLNX is one of the key players in that space as they essentially make programmable hardware chips.
