Winn's tactics on this board have failed miserably. He may have spooked a few of the weaker hands off, but those who have done extensive DD, and those that understand the problem from a managements perspective (top down), remained confident and only bought more. It seems Winn, the self proclaimed "Embedded Control" specialist, viewed this problem thru his own very narrowly based personal experience not realizing as Plant Managers/CEO's must, that with critical production processes, it is far better to be safe than sorry. Assessment, at the very least is a must. And as someone already has reported, the COO of TAVA, Kevin Fallon, has stated today that "we have not been to a site that did not have a remediation problem". How many sites do you think they have been to? Probably hundreds by now. Does that sound like the "Embedded Controller" problem is a myth as Mr. Winn has categorically stated? Actually it sounds bigger than most of us first thought. Another Winn mis-statement. One of many. I have been in Test Engineering for 25 years. Not a design engineer as Mr. Winn claims he is. But in test. Testing MicroControllers, Processors, PROMs, DRAM etc. I certainly realize that Embedded Controller problems in the factory are real - and that my friends is the bottom line to TAVA's business. The problem is real and TAVA has the solution. When someone else like Winn comes aboard (undoubtely they will) and attempts to fabricate a negative scenario using "techspeak", don't panic! - we all know its BS. These people, for the most part, are pushing a personal agenda and they get thier jollies watching some on this board panic. I was on to this guy from the get and stated so. So move on Mr. Winn. Go find another board to get off on. TAVA investors are quite sure what they have bought into. Looking for a job you say? TAVA is hiring but they are looking for someone with broad application experience in "Embedded Controllers". That would leave you out. One last thing Winn. You have repeatedly stated that any Embedded Controller problem must be fixed by the plants own engineers, OEM or vendors. I got a special kick out of hearing that TAVA is currently in discussion with Intel :-) A company that builds processors and Embedded Controllers :-) Its obvious they don't want to use thier engineers performing assessment/remediation work. Another Winn mis-statement. You have been de-bunked so it may be best to tuck your tail between your legs and waddle off now. |
