NATHAN, I tried to get historical options with my trading software but it only does equities and the help desk said NO GO for options. They suggested checking newpapers at the library which isn't a bad idea if your broker is trying to burn you.

If they're going to start pulling this kind of thing on you, I suggest that from now on you either:

a) write down your trades with the bid/ask high/low etc, and all details on the day you do your trade.

or

b) save an HTML file of an option page like CBOE (test this first because it might not work). If it DOESN'T work, you can do a SCREEN PRINT and paste it to a paint program and save the file, this would hold up better than a hand written record!

I've started saving alot of HTML options files so that I can back check prices, not a bad idea if you have the drive space.

Good luck,
Randy
