SIDNEY W. KEMP, ANTONY MOILLIET AND FREDERICK ARKOOSH JR.

CALGARY, Jan. 29 /CNW/ - On Thursday, January 29, 1998, counsel for the
Respondents, Naxos Resources Ltd., Jimmy John, Ian M. Gordon, Carl F.
Campbell, Sidney W. Kemp, Antony Moilliet and Frederick Arkoosh Jr. came
before the Alberta Securities Commission in order to set dates for the hearing
of this matter.
The matter will be returned on Thursday, March 26, 1998 at 9:30 a.m. in
the Hearing Room of the Alberta Securities Commission, located at 4th Floor,
300 - 5th Avenue, SW, Calgary, to present any preliminary applications, and
thereafter will proceed to a full hearing of the matter commencing on May 4,
1998
