Now the GFS has ratcheted the "intrusion" back up. Some lake effect snow in there too. The model is twitching between cold/colder. EWMCF (European model) shows good agreement with things happening a bit earlier and a bit colder and a bit farther west.. Oct. 20 - Oct. 21 - Lake effect snow:
