I have VIX data all the way back to Jan 1st, 1994. It's in WOW format, but I may be able to export it to a CSV file and send it to you if you will give me your format...i.e. o,h,l,c,v
I think we actually may have turned MORE positive today since the VIX ended up heading lower today, especially the last hour. I kind of expected the reverse of that today, BWDIK!
For those of you that would just like to see the daily action versus the market avgs., I use this site which has a fairly large daily chart of the VIX and it appears to be in real time?? I'm not sure on that though, it would seem highly unlikely that they would let this little secret out in real time for free. The link is quote.yahoo.com^VIX&d=1d
