Eric- I heard a similar test result as follows.

They hooked the Gigamux up with 1 channel operating at 2.5 gps. They came back 10 days later and found that all the information was sent error free!! They ran it over about a 25 mile stretch. 2.5GPS would be a total of 216,000,000,000,000 bits per day. Then, get the total, multiply that number by 10 days to get the total bits sent error free.

Pretty impressive.
