Tom, I love this part of the article:
He [the spokeshole for the current DE Attorney General] said neither state prosecutors nor the Board of Pardons would have endorsed Croft's pardon had they known "what the future held."
Well geez, there are a LOT of things that we wouldn't have done had we known "what the future held."

How about you show some courage of conviction, you fsckin' cowards?

How about actually arguing that, at the time, the guy had a clean record for 20+ years and, by all indicators, just wanted to find employment like a regular citizen?

How about arguing that no one knows what the future holds, and that this guy did not fit the profile of a repeat offender?

Does this mean, in the future, anyone who holds conservative views will now be denied pardons because of the chance, however small, that the person would join the "Proud Boys" or the "Boogaloo" movement?
