Hi bob, We talked before I went on vacation we loaded up on blue fin Tuna The problem we are having with Theta is my brother-in law trades with E-trade i'm on Think or Swim and when we compare theta theres a 10 dollar differences in prices,they also change up and down throughout the trading day the other Greeks Gama ,Deltas theos are all the same. The part we are trying to confirm why is there such a difference in Theta its not dependent on the underlying Security only how close to Expiration. When we go out a few weeks our number get almost identical numbers in Theta, Its our understanding that all number come from the CBOE. If time is your enemy then why does Theta go up and down throughout day and Why are our number so Drastically different. At 12.07 today on the AMZN 16oct20 put 3310 option I have a theta of -8.19 My brother in laws is -17.372 Could anyone trading on a different platform look at the option and see what there theta at. would be appreciated.
