Of course people are free to believe whatever they want - there's no way to control what people believe. But as Goya noted, the sleep of reason produces monsters.

There are many historical examples of the consequences of large numbers of people believing false ideas. As the Atlantic piece mentions, plagues encourage people to seek scapegoats - Jews have often been victims.

You are convinced of the criminality of Clinton and Biden, but not of Trump. Interesting.
