>consolidation< This won't help our CIBC shares so long as dollar keeps falling. I agree with what I posted before about BofCan not hiking rates, but that was when the loony was at 68.86. It's fallen almost a whole cent since my comment. Also at the Nortel conference call, they said they Canada was one of the weaker areas of growth. i.e. Friday's economic numbers could be weak and send dollar plummetting, even though its up a little bit in overnight trading.

I have changed my opinion today and speculate that a rate hike is a lot more probable now. *yikes* If they do, I figure I have about a few days to liquidate some of my more interest rate sensitive shares.
