I'm 63 years old....my Dad grew up during WWII. My father in-law stormed Normandy (and survived). I have been exposed to a lot of facts from informed people and veterans. I've listened to many documentaries and even a couple good movies documenting the war. I was almost draft age before Nixon got us out of LBJs Vietnam fiasco. Vietnam was not a war...it was an unnecessary ill fated babysitting death mission and cannot be remotely compared to WWII. You have not been properly educated on WWII. You have no comprehension of the dedication, valor and commitment the entire US put into the war. You do understand our country was attacked? You do understand Hitler was marching thru Europe taking over countries, murdering innocent people by the thousands? You do understand we were not involved in the war at all until we were attacked by Japan at Pearl Harbor. You should really become more informed before you disgrace the country and those who gave their lives so that you can enjoy the life you have taday.
