As noted, the Iomega FAQ page, section 9 refers to Iomega's willingness to replace click dead Zip drives. I
called, their toll free 888 number, followed the menu to a warranty replacement operator who was very nice
and who took the serial number. She said it was still under warranty and promised to ship me a new drive via
UPS tomorrow, with delivery expected for Thursday.

We shall see whether they follow through as promised, however, this seems like a reasonable response. <<<

Please inform me of the tech product that has never had any failures, I'd like to research the possibility of investing in them. TIA

jwk

(yes, there are other more scathing posts at the site, but this one seemed to adress the crtical issue of what happens when you call IOM about it)
