There's nothing wrong with lobbyists as long as they don't have any control. Dems got money from the banking industry during the 2007 collapse but still reformed bank laws.

When republicans said they were passing a tax cut because their donors demanded it, that was an example of corruption that goes to the core of democracy itself.
